At Bel Air Arts Academy, our teachers are experienced performers and educators across a wide range of musical genres. We focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where music becomes a joyful, fun and empowering experience.
We offer Violin, Viola & Fiddle!
We offer string lessons for ages 6+, including adults! You're never too old to start your musical journey.
Private Lessons
Learn with a focus on your goals!
Our lessons are individually tailored to your needs and goals.
We understand that learning a new skill can feel intimidating, so we work to build confidence and comfort alongside fun.
We will work with you to achieve your goals, whether that be working on your orchestra songs, performance skills, learning a new skill for fun, picking up an old hobby - whatever YOU want lessons for!
Our lessons are 30-minutes or 1-hour.
We offer Monthly Memberships for weekly lessons or Class Passes for more flexibility.
Mr. Matt is our primary Strings teacher; he teaches on Mondays.
Community-Centered, Even with Private Lessons!
Excellence Thrives in Community
Students with memberships (weekly lessons) get access to elective classes with their enrollment. Elective classes are additional classes for students to meet their peers, get extra feedback from new ears (especially helpful before auditions and performances!), and make lessons even more fun than they already are! Music Theory 101 and Music Theory: Rhythm, and Adult Pickup Band for our Strings students.
