Bel Air Arts Academy Conservatory Artist Program

Bel Air Arts Academy is proud to announce our Inaugural Conservatory Program; an advanced path with a year long commitment.

The Conservatory Artist Program is a merit-based, pre-professional program designed to support exceptionally gifted students in their development. The program prepares students to enter into the music world armed with experience, exposure and every resource they need to find success. Auditions are held in August for voice and piano students.

What is the benefit of the conservatory artist program?

The benefits of this program can be categorized in four parts:

  • Scholarship – Conservatory artists receive a 25-50% Tuition Scholarship for their lessons. High School Juniors and Seniors also receive assistance in preparing for college scholarship competitions and/or assistance with pursuing a music major or minor.
  • Evaluation – Conservatory Artists are evaluated at the Academy, State and National level in order to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding standards according to their level of experience. Their growth is measured and documented and their successes are recognized publicly.
  • Performance – In addition to Academy recitals, Conservatory Artists are eligible to participate in special performance opportunities open to only a limited number of students hosted by one of our partners or national associations.
  • Community – Conservatory Artists participate in monthly virtual performance classes designed to be part Master Class and part support group. Performance class teaches students to be more adept performers and supportive peers. Conservatory Artists are also recognized as leaders of their student group at the Academy.
